Developed in the late 1980s, the 146-300QT is a modified 146-300 featuring a large freight door on the port fuselage side. The 146-300QT has become a popular choice for cargo operators due to its low noise levels allowing for night operations into city airports. The QT offers the ideal cargo capacity between the regional feeder aircraft and larger cargo aircraft such as the MD-11.
